BSNL 5G

A major step toward 5G has been taken by BSNL and Nokia, signalling nationwide rollout soon. It is reported and seen that BSNL and Nokia have already started their advanced 5G testing, which makes it obvious to users that we will soon see a super-fast 5G network offered by BSNL. Searches are already seen with terms like “indigenous 5G network India,” “BSNL Nokia 5G deal,” “BSNL rural 5G launch”, and “BSNL 5G core testing” across the tech industry.

From some sources, it is reported that, to accelerate BSNL’s 5G deployment, Nokia is supplying their core network infrastructure with all the necessary equipment to BSNL under a strategic partnership. The 5G testing phase will include several checks like, such as standalone (SA) architecture validation, integration with India-made radio units and interoperability checks. To reduce the dependance of Chinese vendors and with the Atmanirbhar Bharat scheme Government is also supporting the network upgrade. As Jio and Airtel have already launched and begun their expansion with their own 5G and ultra 5G networks. Users are also expecting some major updates about BSNL. It is exciting for some users to get the news of BSNL 5G. Users are really happy to see that BSNL is also participating race to capture the Indian market in terms of 5G network services. Most of the users have already experienced BSNL 4G, which was trending some time ago. As the telecom operator is providing a challenging low-price data, calling and sms pack combo to their user base.

With Nokia’s 5G packet core and IMS systems, BSNL is expected the roll out nationwide soon. Before making it available for mainstream consumers, the operator is focusing on fixed wireless access (FWA), enterprise 5G and state-backed connectivity projects. Some trending discussions are seen on the internet with “government 5G adoption” and “BSNL 5G enterprise services.” With the help of Nokia's technology, users are expecting to finally get a pocket-friendly alternative for the 5G network. As BSNL always comes up with some plans with very low prices. But the problem was always the connection. In some areas, it was reported that users are not able to receive a proper signal, which makes it tough to call or use the internet while they have a 4G plan. Now, with the technology combination is really expected now the BSNL 5G will be the game changer. We can still hope that BSNL will soon dominate the other operators in terms of connectivity and plan price rates.

Here, it is a critical part to avail the 5G service in some Rural areas. The rural connectivity that the operator is now working on. In Tier 3 and Tier 4 regions, BSNL is now aiming to launch their 5G-ready infrastructure with new fibre backhaul proposals and BharatNet Phase III. With the entities' collaborations like ISRO and OneWeb, BSNL is also going to release satellite-based backhaul. India is showing interest now in “rural telecom integration” and “satellite 5G India.” As we can see here, BSNL is also working on the rural and semi-urban network developments. These kinds of projects perfectly align with the goal of the Indian Government to make India digitally ready. We all must have noticed in few times Jio is also working on the same goal to spread the high-speed internet connectivity with Jio AirFiber, which makes it possible to transfer super high-speed internet in rural areas without the need for traditional fibre wires. And now we are witnessing that BSNL is also working on the same goal with some high technologies of the Nokia brand. We hope that soon we will be able to see the competitor on the Indian telecom market in the 5G race with the collaboration of BSNL and Nokia.

With the spectrum in the 3300 MHz and 700 MHz bands, we could see some significant improvements in indoor penetration and coverage. As per some analysts' reports, in sectors like smart cities, digital governance, healthcare and defence communication, in future, BSNL could work with some telecom giants Jio and Airtel as they are already working on these sectors. Not as a competitor Indian market can be a witness to a team game too, while the users can see that all the operators are working together on the same goal to make every corner of India online and internet-ready with some high-speed networks.

If testing goes well on some advanced level use cases, we could see BSNL releasing the 5G rollout as the best network provider that focuses on Speed and Accuracy.
